For the last time, hi there!
We have come to the end of the term and completed all of our assignments. This is going to be my last blog post, including my evaluations of the course. I will be answering course related six questions briefly, hope you find it helpful.
Let's find out what's up!

1. What did I most like about the course?
To be honest, I was not no so happy when we are told that our digital works were going to be graded and that we had to learn to use many different tools for language teaching and learning. As I am not good at using computer, I thought this was going to be a disaster for me. Now I see how much prejudiced and wrong I was because it turned out to be very beneficial and fun process for me. I could never imagine myself as a blogger but, here I am! Blogging is definitely my favorite thing about the course. I love to personalize every blog post and create both informative and visually attractive pages. I plan to keep it and expand its content, it will be so much fun!
2. What did I least like about the course?
I guess having to learn a new tool and complete a task related to it every single week which requires hard work from my side was a rather tiring job. I can totally understand these are the requirements of the course and without these, there would not be much thing to evaluate so I am actually glad to have done these instead of formal exams.
3. How does this course contribute to my develoment as a future teacher?
When I imagine about what kind of teaching materials would I use when I become a teacher, I would generally think of every traditional thing other than computer based materials because, as I mentioned above, I thought I was not proficient to integrate technology in my teaching. Now I can clearly say that this course helped me become more confident about using computer and gave me some insights about my future teaching. My way of thinking about technology use in classroom changed in a positive way.
4. What would I suggest to improve the course? What topics could be added to the syllabus, etc.?
I think the course is very well developed, it provides us with diverse tools and enables us to use various different activities in the classroom. In my opinion, digital stories and podcasts are the most beneficial and fun tools in the course and they should be worked on in detail. There are countless possible ways to create vivid and engaging materials that students would love to see/hear.
5. What has been my favourite assignmet? Why?
Our digital story assignment is my favorite, without a doubt. Although it was the most difficult and time consuming one, I was very pleased with the outcome. It took us long hours to write the story, find the proper cartoon pictures, set the table and video record while reading the lines at the same time. The process was kind of frustrating as I consider the multiple takes we had to do. But whenever I show it to people, I get nothing but positive feedbacks so it worths the hard work and when you do it with a good friend, it is a lot of fun!
6. What would be your message to the students who would take this course next year?
“Dear students; please don’t be intimidated by the consistent computer use in this course as I did… After you practice one or two times, you’ll get used to it and start to enjoy the process. Always use your imagination and creativity, there are lots of possible ways to make your work better! Think about your non-existent (yet) students and adjust your works according to their needs and learning goals. It gets easier when you are confident in yourself; think as a teacher, act as a teacher when solving a problem. Treat your blogs as your identification cards, they define your personality and remember to make them look as attractive as possible! And the most importantly- listen to the teacher carefully as she introduces you to new websites and tools and complete the assignments in time, good luck!”
This is the end of my last blog post. I should say that I really liked blogging and I absolutely suggest you to do the same!
