What is RSS feeds?
RSS feeds are basically simple text files that, once submitted to feed directories, will allow subscribers to see content within a very short time after it's updated (sometimes as short as 30 minutes or less; it's getting faster all the time).
Using RSS in your online browsing habits can greatly streamline and simplify how you get your content. Instead of checking back every day to any particular site to see if it's been updated, users simply subscribe to the RSS feed and read the updates from the site which makes the process much more quicker and easier.
How is it used?
To use the RSS reader, you log into your RSS reader web page or start your RSS software or app, and you can scan all the web feeds instantly. You can arrange the RSS feeds into folders, just like email, and you can set alerts and sounds for when a particular web feed is updated.
One might enjoy it because..
When you copy the RSS URL and paste it into your RSS reader, you are "subscribing" to the feed. It will deliver results to your RSS reader until you unsubscribe from it. There are plenty of benefits from subscribing to an RSS feed. For example, you can follow the latest news, things that are related to your hobbies and interests, photographs of all kinds, you can read your friends’ blogs without having to click to their sites, you can follow politics or inspirational quotes as well!

Now I will introduce you one of these blogs, English with Jo, let's find out more about it!

English with Jo is a blog which provides conversation lessons given by three qualified native English speaking teachers; Jo, Mary Rose and Kathleen. I choose this one because I think speaking is a must and we are not good at communicating in English as much as we do at writing, listening and reading. Although we receive years of formal education, we are still struggling to communicate.
They provide conversation lessons in many different categories which I find very helpful.

They also provide online grammar lessons and useful vocabulary lessons in addition to word of the day category.
For example, if we choose to learn more about Bussiness English-Working Abroad categor, we see there is a short video provided about " Why Working Abroad Could Be a Smart Career Decision" by Alec Ross.
After we watch the video and understand the content, there are numerous related vocabulary and conversation questions which makes us think about the topic and question full effects of it more and more.
I believe this is a very good mental excercise, makes us think deeply and help us open new doors.
All we need to do is watch the video, think about it, answer the questions in front of a mirror and imagine as if we are communicating with a real speaker!

I would recommend this website for teachers too, this questions and videos might make their job easier. They can make students watch these videos and give them vocabulary activities or use these questions to find out about their opinions on the subject. They might create a fun communication atmosphere with a lot of brainstorming and different insights.
